Yale Road Historic Corridor
Yale Road stretches from one side of Chilliwack to the other, running roughly parallel to the Trans Canada Highway. Parts of the road pre-date the 1858 gold rush.
A drive along the corridor will take you beside the ancient Sto:lo village and fish processing sites, beside some of the oldest farms in the area and into the heart of the City at Five Corners. The route also includes the communities of Greendale, Cheam and Rosedale which sprang up during the 19th Century.
You can start your drive along the corridor at Rosedale or Greendale but be sure to time your trip to arrive in downtown Chilliwack for a bite to eat at one of Chilliwack's many fine restaurants.
