The Bergmann Duo is delighted to present Fantasies for Two, a richly expressive programme celebrating the artistry and magic of piano four-hands performance. Sharing a single keyboard, the duo creates a sound of remarkable depth, intimacy, and dramatic power. The programme features Franz Schubert’s magnificent and deeply moving Fantasy in F minor, one of the most profound masterpieces in the piano duet repertoire. Completing the programme is Marcel Bergmann’s imaginative Fantasy on Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, inspired by the music of George Gershwin. Together, these works create a compelling dialogue between Romantic depth and modern colour—an evening of musical storytelling, expressive nuance, and dazzling ensemble playing.

Look-a-likes of Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons with vocal similarities and soaring vocal harmonies, are the band’s hallmarks and the foundation to which their performance has been built. With over 240 years of collective professional experience in the 6 piece band today, their performances are as close to the real deal as you’ll ever get.
With one of the most “game-changing” song catalogues in rock and roll history from the Tom Johnston era to the Michael McDonald era, “DBX” has evolved into a masterful celebration of The Doobie Brothers. All rock enthusiasts know the words to “China Grove”; “Long Train Runnin’ “; “What A Fool Believes”; “Black Water”; “Takin’ It To The Streets”, or “Minute By Minute” and many, many more.

Andrew Borden and his wife Abby are found dead in Fall River, Massachusetts, August 1892. Their daughter Lizzie is the main suspect. Tried but acquitted of the crime, the story goes that she wielded the axe that killed them. Overnight, she becomes America’s original ‘mad, bad and dangerous to know’ icon. Following the screening and Q & A, the second half of the night will feature live musical performances by a wide array of world class musicians and bands.
Film Synopsis:
A story about the passion of music and bringing community together for “One More Song.” The project grew out of the sold-out success of The Tractorgrease Revival, filmed in February 2024. The film traces the full arc of Tractorgrease — from its early days as a music collective, recording studio, café, and live venue. Along the way, Tractorgrease became a destination for some of Canada’s finest musicians, many of whom recorded and performed there. Through archival footage, new interviews, and live performances the film documents over 20 years of musical adventures and the struggle to keep it all together.

Event Details
Canada’s #1 stand-up road warrior Ron James, is in the driver’s seat once again and bound full throttle for the ‘big wide open’ with his new show, ‘The Noise Between Our Ears’.
With a seismic level of socio-political change shifting a reality we long took for granted, what better way to process the cacophonous overload of stimuli than in the language of laughs.
‘Fresh out of the wrapping’ content skewers everything from the tyrannical Tangerine Genie south of the border looking to turn us into the 51st state, to aging Baby Boomers now but twenty years away from roaming ‘the home’ in their Led Zeppelin onesies, just one more sing a long away from taking a Stairway to Heaven! Alongside these macro issues is a window on the daily trials of a technologically compromised ADHD addled adult, who came of age in a day when a ‘hash tag’ was something you got after getting too close to the hash knives! Whether getting comedic mileage with classic bits on generational differences in families then and now; teacher terrors of public-school days; hand me-down hockey gear; party hearty camping trips with pals in those ‘bullet proof days of yore’, there’s something for everybody. ‘Ultimately though, ‘The Noise Between Our Ears’ sees Ron as the ever struggling ‘Everyman’, doing his best to make sense of a world off kilter while bedeviled by forces beyond his control, where airlines constantly lose luggage, stock portfolios nosedive, mortality’s the new reality and the barber spends more time trimming your ears than he does your head!

Event Details
Birdy is Hung Dance’s exhilarating call to the wild, where creatures of a feather move together and fracture apart. Featuring the Ling Zi headpiece, pheasant tail feathers from traditional Chinese opera symbolizing a warrior’s power, the work conjures a magpie-inspired vision, flashing moments of freedom against the cage of history. Drawing from martial arts, Peking opera, and cultural symbolism, the choreography transforms Taiwan’s political and historical complexity into a vivid contemporary dance language. Shifting from tenderness to ferocity, long feathers extend the body, at times weapon, at times whisper, while dancers flock, conform, and resist in a visceral meditation on identity, control, and the human desire for freedom.

Past. Present. Future. One very bad Santa.
Sandy Claus used to be the face of Christmas. Now she would rather spend the holidays alone at The Last Stop Dive Bar. Bitter, burnt out and completely over Christmas, Sandy wants nothing to do with the season—or the people still trying to reach her.
But when three unexpected visitors arrive, Sandy is forced to confront the Christmases she left behind, the life continuing without her and the future she may be creating.
Inspired by the classic Christmas tale, The Very Bad Christmas Carol combines dance, storytelling, humour and heart in a fresh—and slightly inappropriate—holiday production.
