National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Greendale Acres recognizes that we live and work on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Stó:lō people.

On Wednesday, September 30, we invite our community to join us for a day of learning, reflection, and cultural sharing at the farm.t

All Indigenous guests receive free admission at the gate on Wednesday, September 30. General admission is required for all non-Indigenous guests. Children 2 and under and guests 75+ are free and do not require a ticket.

• Orange Shirt Day: All guests are encouraged to wear an orange shirt in recognition of Orange Shirt Day.
• Pil’alt Canoe Family Sharing of Culture: Join us for a special opportunity for cultural sharing from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.
• Supporting Memiyelhtel: A portion of proceeds from the day will be donated to the Memiyelhtel Indigenous Youth Mentorship Program in Chilliwack, which provides holistic, long-term support for Indigenous youth.
• Bannock Fundraiser: Bannock will be available for purchase from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, with proceeds supporting the Memiyelhtel program.
