Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra

The Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra is a 50-piece ensemble dedicated to bringing high-quality symphonic music to the Fraser Valley. Founded in 2008 by a passionate group of local volunteer musicians, the orchestra has become a cornerstone of Chilliwack’s arts community.

Known for its engaging performances, the orchestra regularly features talented guest soloists and collaborates with other local arts organizations to create dynamic and memorable concerts. Their programming offers a mix of classical favourites and creative productions, making orchestral music accessible and enjoyable for a wide range of audiences.

As a non-profit organization, the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra is supported through ticket sales and community donations, with a shared goal of fostering a love of music and the arts in Chilliwack.

The orchestra presents four concerts each season at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre’s HUB International Theatre.
